Our 2017-2018 Palmgrass music season is over and we want to thank everyone involved for making it such a great success.  We produced 9 shows with 20 plus bands on stage for a total audience of around 1200.  As we all know, events like this don’t happen on their own.  Thanks to the management, staff and volunteers of the Arts Alliance who make their facility available to us and advertise our events and provide help to sell refreshments at our show.  Thanks to the board and volunteers of the AMS who take time to manage and run the shows and take care of all the activities you never see but are crucial.  They also greet you at the door and handle ticket sales, answer questions, help find seats in the theatre, set up, run and take down sound and lights, emcee, book the bands, clean up before and after, etc.  Thanks to the bands who spend many hours preparing, practicing and traveling to bring music and entertainment to the stage.  And most of all thanks to all the wonderful people who come to the shows, sit in the audience and enjoy the music.  You are the most important part of all.  We appreciate your participation with us to keep live bluegrass music on the stage and we couldn’t do it without you.
The Alliance has given us the dates for next season’s shows so over the summer we will begin the process of booking bands and preparing for next season.  We hope you join us once again when September rolls around.
